This is a collection of truly inspirational short stories written by a number of women who choose to share some of their real life experiences. Catherine A. Tetrick and Patricia Egan, the authors of "Community of Women The Journeys We Take" encouraged other strong, intelligent women to document a real life experience that each had encountered. The various stories deal with sickness and sorrow, childbearing and adoption, marriage and divorce and other topics that we can all relate to. Some of the stories were inspiring, some difficult to read, and some heartwarming but all of the stories renewed my faith in human nature. Some of the stories made me reflect on similar things that had occurred in my life. And the last story is truly touching, written by a young grade school and her first crush.
It's not always an easy journey through life, but these women persevered and we're kind enough to share their stories.
